Camphill Village Trust at the Great Yorkshire Show

Camphill Village Trust Care Farm Manager Robin Asquith and a team of people we support have been exhibiting at the Great Yorkshire Show today.

The Great Yorkshire Show is an iconic three-day event and one of the biggest agricultural events in the English calendar. The Harrogate-based event attracts over 130,00 visitors.

The team have been sharing information about the work of Camphill Village Trust and how agriculture can support social care.

Care Farm Manager Robin shared the stage with The Red Shepherdess, Hannah Jackson (Channel 4 SAS Who Dares Wins), NFU Livestock Board chairman Richard Findley and Sam Dilcock presenter of ‘Gods Own Countryfile’ on BBC Radio York to discuss ‘What’s next for British Produce’.

Robin also met with NFU North East Regional Director, Adam Bedford to discuss the work of Camphill Village Trust and the benefits of Care Farming.

A great day was had by all and a fantastic opportunity to share information about the work of Camphill Village Trust.
