Can farming link with the NHS to provide social care support?

Botton Village Care Farm Manager, Robin Asquith spoke to Emily Ashworth from the Farmers Guardian to discuss the positive effect agriculture can have on social care.

Social prescriptions will soon hopefully be available where doctors can provide time outdoors at places such as High Farm, Botton Village as an effective way to deal with mental health issues.

Robin says: “The NHS has committed money which will mean places such as High Farm and other social farms could be utilised as a means of support.”
