At Camphill Village Trust, we value and care for the environment and collectively we take steps to live sustainably in harmony with the natural world.
So, we’re really pleased to announce we’re one of the chosen charities for the Scrap Car Comparison’s ‘Donate A Car scheme’. It means that anyone getting rid of a damaged or unwanted vehicle can do so via the scheme and the profit then comes back to Camphill Village Trust.
How does it work?
Scrap Car Comparison’s Donate A Car scheme allows you to get rid of your old, damaged or unwanted vehicle and donate the profit you make to us. You can choose to donate all or just some of the profits which all go towards providing a life of opportunity to the adults we support with learning and other disabilities.
Alex Robertson, Regional Fundraiser said; ‘We were delighted to have been chosen by Scrap Car Comparison as their charity of the month for June 2021. They have done some great work in the community over many years and we are joining charities like Marie Curie, the RSPCA and the British Heart Foundation as well as many smaller charities all of whom have benefited from the kindness of SCC and their customers’
