The Trust has been successful with three applications to the Co-op’s Local Community Fund – Delrow, St Albans and Croft Communities are all raising money with Co-op!
Every time Co-op members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 2p for every pound spent goes into their membership account and the Co-op will give the same to support community organisations and local causes.
Support the Trust while you shop
Co-op members can choose a local cause to support through their membership, and this is where you come in.
If you’re already a Co-op member and live in the local area you can choose to support the branch by logging into to your Co-op membership account and click on Choose a local cause. Joining Co-op as a member costs just £1 and can unlock some great deals and savings, as well as giving you the chance to support the Trust.

On Saturday the St Albans Community Kindness Crew kicked off their year in the Local Community Fund by meeting staff, volunteers and customers as their local store celebrated its first birthday. The Crew will be out and about across the community, using their skills and kindness to help others. #lonelynotalone
And on Tuesday community members at Larchfield Community met with member pioneer, Anne Salter, and store manager Darren to receive a cheque for a whopping £6,604.49 from last year’s community fund!
