Dean Barnshaw is the Regional General Manager for the Stourbridge Community and Shared Lives service. He joined the Trust in November 2016 to lead on the development of Shared Lives across the West Midlands.
A qualified social worker with an interest in community cohesion and creating opportunities for all, Dean has worked in a variety of social care settings for over 25 years, and has been involved in the Shared Lives sector since 2006. He currently oversees all of the services in Stourbridge, which includes; supported living, residential care, a five-acre social farm & garden and the shared lives scheme, that spans across Dudley, Wolverhampton, and surrounding Black Country.
As an HM Forces veteran and a married father of two boys, Dean is very keen on sports and fitness, so can be often found boxing, cycling and swimming. He is also an avid supporter of Sunderland football club.
