How to make a referral

Camphill Village Trust has opportunities for people to join us for supported living or for day opportunities.

If you are interested in joining a Camphill Village Trust community or our Shared Lives scheme then in the first instance please use the website form to contact the community or service you are interested in.  Once this form has been received, we will be in touch with you to talk to you about the type of support you are interested in and to invite to you to visit the community, if we think we may be able to support you.

Next steps

If you are interested in proceeding following your visit,  you will need to approach your local authority to inform them of your interest in a Camphill Village Trust community and request whether this can be considered.

If the local authority supports this, an assessment of your support needs is the next step. In most cases, Local Authorities will want to explore all appropriate options within their locality first before considering making a referral out of the area.

Day Opportunities

If you are interested in participating in the day opportunities that we have available please get in touch with your local Camphill Village Trust community using the online form and we will arrange for you to visit.  At this time we will discuss with you the different activities that we have on offer and assess how we might be able to help you achieve your goals.

An assessment from the local authority for funding is required or you may wish to pay for it privately.  Most of our daily activities cost around £25 – £30 per half day session.
