Learning Disability Week is a time to celebrate, raise awareness and challenge the barriers faced by people with a learning disability.
This year’s theme, “Do you see me?”, is all about visibility, representation and ensuring that people with learning disabilities are truly seen, heard and valued in all areas of life.
At Camphill Village Trust, this theme resonates strongly with our values. We believe in building communities where everyone can thrive, contribute and be recognised for who they are. From meaningful work in our social enterprises, to creative expression in arts and crafts, and active participation in decision-making through co-production, we’re proud to stand alongside the people we support every day.
💬 Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing powerful stories, videos and more—highlighting the talents, voices and lived experiences of people across our communities.
👉 Stay tuned as we shine a light on the importance of visibility and inclusion. Let’s make sure everyone is truly seen.
