Transition Event at St Martin’s College: Meet Severnside Skills

Severnside Skills will be attending St Martin’s College for a Transition Event on Monday 2nd February 2026 at 4.30-6.30pm.

Open to all, this event brings together local providers, colleges, as well as post-16 and post-19 young people and families, to explore opportunities.

What is Severnside Skills?

An inclusive campus for people with special educational needs (SEN), set within the Taurus Crafts visitor centre (which creates opportunities to gain work experience in a thriving social enterprise setting)!

Severnside Skills is a campus-based training provider, offering vocational skills and employment pathways for individuals with special educational needs. Many trainees joins us after leaving school or college, but our trainees take lots of different routes into our courses.

Short courses:

  • January 2026 – AQA 6-week short course: Using an oven: baking cakes, flans & biscuits (2 half-days per week)

Academic year courses:

  • September 2026 onwards – Catering, Retail & Hospitality, Gardening, Cleaning & Housekeeping, Events.

All courses are AQA accredited.
