Save the date – Taurus Crafts is turning 30, and we’re celebrating in style.
Celebrations include a makers market, craft workshops and kids activities throughout, creative demos led by the people we support, live music and dancing, and more. Have a go with our juicer and make your own apple juice from fruits grown at Oaklands Park – another Gloucestershire community in the Camphill Village Trust, get into the festival mood with a Henna tattoo. Try our free tai chi workshop, and catch our very own Severnside Skills graduate Oliver giving a cooking demo on how to prepare a delicious Indian dish.
Workshop times and options are listed below – sign up on the day! While some activities are more aimed at children such as drop-in crafts and circus skills, others such as willow wings and flower garlands are equally suitable for adults. Whilst most market traders and activities accept card payments, some may not and we advise bringing cash to avoid missing out.
Workshop Details
- If visitors would like to book in for willow wings and flower garland making with Hannah Beasley, both can be offered for £12 or £7 for each.
- Story telling in the courtyard garden will take place throughout the day at regular intervals, sign posted on the day.
- Children must be supervised by parents/guardians throughout workshops.
