12 Week Short Courses
Severnside Skills offers 6-week short courses that introduce trainees to our 38 week vocational training. Explore our training courses to find the best one for you!
Sessions will be three hours long, and mainly practical giving an opportunity to gain work experience within the visitor centre and achieve a certificate to evidence achievement.
Course times will be morning 10am-1pm or afternoon 1pm-4pm and all based at Taurus Crafts in Lydney.
Short course subjects:
- Introduction to catering
- Barista skills
- Grounds maintenance
- Events steward
- Customer service
- Retail and hospitality
- Housekeeping and cleaning
- Upcycling
- Office administration skills
- Gardening
All courses will be certified by AQA.
Cost per person £550 (12 sessions)
