Camphill Village Trust began supporting adults with learning disabilities in 1954. Since our earliest days, we have relied on the generosity of our friends to enable adults with additional needs, live lives which are fulfilling and enable them to contribute to society.
Today, we still need the support of people who believe that everyone should be able to explore their ability not be defined by their disability.
Our fundraising promise
Our fundraising has always been based on friendship. We treat our supporters as we would treat our friends and would want to be treated ourselves.
We promise that:
- Your gifts will be put to the best possible use to support adults with learning disability to live a life of opportunity.
- We will offer our supporters choice as to how frequently they hear from us. This is something we have done from our earliest days.
- Your requests will be respected. If you decide you don’t want to hear from us you will be removed from our mailing list and we will not get in touch with you again.
- We will be transparent and honest. We will keep you informed about how your gifts are used. You can find out about our finances here and you can find our about how we use your personal data here.
