Join us for our first event of the year – come and see what our Summer Fair has in store on Sunday 22nd August.
Featuring at the fair: Kitchen Flowers, Gloucestershire Camphill Village Trust Products, Reeks Stained Glass, Wooden Heart Designs, Lisa Dear Artworks, Derek A. Lamb Ceramics, Bespoke Brewery, Watercolour Puddles, Humble Bee Beauty, McCrindles Cider and Taurus Crafts BBQ.
Not only is there the opportunity for visitors to discover local makers but you can also get hands-on and involved in a family craft activity with local artist Jayme-lee Cooper, where visitors can make their own magical mini dwelling for monsters or mythical beasts to live in, this eco-friendly activity uses all-natural materials which have been found in the forest locally.
To keep the crowds entertained there will be live music from local buskers âLighty Twnedâ, a husband and wife duo who perform an eclectic mix of songs from a vintage era through to the present day. Joining them will be âDouble Measureâ which comprises two local singer-songwriters, whose harmonies and exquisite fingerpicking will draw the listener in.
âThis is a great choice for a family day out, with childrenâs activity, playground, free trail and live music.â
What makes Taurus Crafts so special is the ethos behind it all â as part of the Camphill Village Trust we are a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities. There will be a co-produced pop-up cafĂ© at the fair where the people we support have selected a range of summer favorites to enjoy, even dogs will be catered for, with a new range of dog ice cream on offer!
So why not stop by the Summer Fair on Sunday 22nd August and discover what makes Taurus Crafts a great place to find local artists, makers, brewers, and producers. The fair runs from 11 am until 4 pm and is free to enter with a large free car park.
