  • Have a learning disability
  • Are autistic
  • Have mental health support needs
  • Have a brain injury
  • Have other support needs

Referrals can be made by:

  • Social workers
  • Local authorities
  • Commissioners
  • NHS professionals
  • Families and carers
  • Self-referrals (asking for support for yourself)

What happens next?

Once you have made a referral for either Supported Living or NBTS, we will be in touch with you to talk to you about the type of support you are interested in and to invite you to visit the community.

Supported Living next steps

After your visit, if you are interested in joining us, you will need to tell your local authority that you are interested in joining a Camphill Village Trust community. You will need to ask them to consider this as a supported living option for you.

If the local authority supports this, they will assess your support needs. In most cases, Local Authorities will want to look at all of the different options nearby, before considering a location outside of their area.

Nature-based Therapies and Skills next steps

After you've made a referral and spoken to our team, we will arrange a visit. During the visit, we will tell you about the different activities we offer, where they are located, and how we might be able to help you achieve your goals.

If you are using local authority funding for these activities, they will need to do an assessment. You can also pay privately. Most of our daily activities cost around £35-40 per half-day session.
