Fundraising Impact 2025–26

Helping more people live extraordinary lives

When you spend time in our communities, you can feel the difference. You can see people’s confidence growing through meaningful work, friendships, creativity and connection with nature.

At Camphill Village Trust, we don’t believe in ordinary. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy, active and fulfilling life as part of a vibrant community.

While social care funding helps provide essential support, it does not fund many of the activities, opportunities and environments that help people truly thrive. That is where fundraised income makes such an extraordinary difference to the people that we support.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, people across our communities can access activities that build confidence, independence and connection. Donations help fund meaningful activities, skills development, co-produced projects and the beautiful gardens, farms and green spaces where so much community life happens.

Supporting meaningful opportunities every day

Across our communities, people take part in gardening, arts and crafts, cooking, animal care, social enterprises and creative projects. They learn practical skills, develop confidence and build friendships, all while contributing to community life in meaningful ways.

Fundraising also supports co-production initiatives, ensuring the people we support have a real voice in shaping their communities and the opportunities available to them.

Many of the moments donations make possible may seem small, but their impact can be life changing. Harvesting vegetables grown together in a community garden. Baking and selling produce in the community shop or cafe. Taking part in a drama session, wildlife group or seasonal celebration. These experiences help people feel connected, valued and empowered.

Unlocking new opportunities across our communities

This year, fundraised income has helped make a range of practical and life-enhancing projects possible.

New minibuses are helping people access work experience, training, social activities and appointments more easily, especially in our rural communities. They are helping people stay connected and take a more active role in community life beyond their immediate neighbourhood.

Fundraising has also supported the continued development of Severnside Skills training at Taurus Crafts. Through structured, real-world learning opportunities, people with Special Educational Needs can build confidence, develop practical skills and take important steps towards meaningful supported employment.

Alongside this, donations have enabled a wider range of projects that strengthen inclusion and participation in daily community life. One example is the new community shop at Ashfield Social Farm and Garden in Stourbridge. Here, people we support grow fruit and vegetables through supported activities, then prepare, price and sell the produce themselves. This hands‑on experience builds practical skills, confidence and independence, while also giving people a visible, valued role within their local community.

Each of these opportunities helps people discover their strengths, build relationships and live fuller, more connected lives.

Thank you

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Camphill Village Trust this year.

Your generosity helps create chances for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs to explore their talents, contribute to their communities and live extraordinary lives.

But there is still more to do.

Society is not always set up to give people with learning disabilities or autism the opportunities they deserve. Yet every day across our communities, we see what is possible with the right support, meaningful activities and a strong sense of belonging.

With continued support, we can go further in our ambition:

A world where nature and community are central to social care, unlocking health, independence and opportunity for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health support needs.

Together, we can continue building places where people don’t just receive support but live an extraordinary life as part of a vibrant community. Thank you.
