Standing Together for Disability Justice

A Future of Opportunity for All

At Camphill Village Trust, we’re proud to stand with the Campaign for Disability Justice. Our mission has always been to create communities where everyone, regardless of ability, can live a life of opportunity, purpose, and fulfilment. For 70 years, we’ve supported people with learning disabilities and autism, helping them unlock their potential and actively participate in society.

We believe that every person should have the chance to contribute to society, pursue meaningful work, and live a life full of possibility, no matter their ability. However, the reality is that far too many Disabled people across the UK are held back by barriers, whether it’s in the workplace, in their communities, or through a lack of financial security.

That’s why we are backing the national Campaign for Disability Justice, calling on Government to work with organisations led by Disabled people to guarantee:

Opportunity
To support employers to create more accessible jobs and to ensure Disabled people have voluntary access to good quality employment support, without the threat of sanctions.

Security
To guarantee a decent standard of living for Disabled people, in or out of work, that adequately accounts for the additional costs they face. Improve social security so that everyone can live a decent life, whether they’re in work or not.

Respect
To lead the way in building a society that respects and values Disabled people and supports the development of local Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs).

Please, ACT NOW and sign up to support the campaign. Don’t forget to spread the word to your friends and families. www.campaignfordisabilityjustice.org.uk

Together, we can create a society that offers equal opportunities and supports the rights and dignity of all Disabled people. We encourage you to join us in backing this campaign and standing up for Disability Justice.
