Do you have some spare time, and would like to do something worthwhile?
An excellent opportunity, as part of this new exciting initiative, has arisen at Botton Village, volunteering to support the bike maintenance department.
The bike scheme has been introduced for members of our community to use bikes free of charge. This gives the community the independence to travel around the village and local areas.
The volunteer’s tasks will include: –
- Maintenance of the bikes
- Ensuring all checks are complete, so the bikes are safe for use
- Cleaning of the bikes
- Collecting them from the bike parks
The volunteer role would be to help with the smooth running of the scheme.
The number of hours per week is flexible, with the opportunity to progress into other areas of the community.
