Then this opportunity is for you. We are looking for volunteers to work in our Coffee Bar/Café. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and create a new friend base.
You will assist the team in taking food and beverage orders, preparing food/beverage orders, stocking shelves, and serving customers, washing up and general cleaning, whilst working alongside adults with learning disabilities.
You will be contributing to workshop by working as part of the team, you will provide added value support, in the workshop to help others develop their skills.
To be able to carry out the role you do not need any previous experience, as training and will be given. However, there are some things we need from you;
You must be 18 years and over.
Be enthusiastic, motivated, honest, reliable, trustworthy and have a caring nature.
You will be patient and will treat people with different abilities, beliefs and religion to your own respectfully.
Be self-motivated, work on your own initiative and be able to work as part of a team.
Have a full driving licence (due to location) .
Ideally, you will have/be able to commit to regular hours/days per week.

Our Charity is committed to Safeguarding adults therefore an Enhanced DBS will be required for this volunteering role which will be funded through the charity as well as references. All applicants must be 18 years or older due to insurance purposes.
