About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join on a fixed-term contract and assist with help with the continued success of Camphill Village Trust in Gloucestershire.

As the Day’s Opportunities Manager, you will be leading a team of up to 6 employees (Workshop Leaders) across the local communities. Your key focus will be to ensure that the highest standards of service are provided to the people we support.

The areas of the Trust that you will be responsible for include;

  • Social Care Farm
  • Therapeutic Gardens
  • Pottery & Bakery
  • Wood Workshop
  • Crafts & Weavery

Through effective marketing and promotion, budgeting and financial management, your organisational and people management skills will be key to ensuring the continued successful running of the Camphill Village Trust.

Our communities are based in beautiful semi-rural locations in Newnham, Gloucestershire where 99 people are being supported.

We provide a full induction and free training.  We will support you to obtain the Care Certificate when you first join us and to obtain further professional qualifications later if you want to do so.

What we need from you

Essential 

You will have prior experience working with people with support needs, managing a team and a good understanding of budgets.

You will need a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, as you may be required to drive Camphill Village Trust’s vehicles.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will hold a qualification in Leadership and Management.
