Camphill Village Trust currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Horticulturalist to join our team and be a part of a new and exciting re-launch project planned for Spring 2020.
Leading a team of 10 committed volunteers and supported by the Management Team you will have direct input into the successful design and running of 4 acres of land.
At Camphill Village Trust everything we do is designed to improve the services delivered to the people we support and to contribute towards this, a key part of your role will be to prepare and deliver an agreed programme of horticultural activities.
The land is fully operational already producing seasonal goods for our kitchens as well as providing a social and relaxing environment for the people we support
About you
Ideally, you will already hold a qualification in either horticulture and/or social care or being willing to achieve both within an agreed period.
You should be able to demonstrate that you have an understanding or have previous experience working with people with learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour.
Above all, you will need to be self-motivated, organised and able to work with a high level of autonomy.
