An opportunity has arisen for a HR Co-ordinator to join our team, working for a well-established charity, based in an idyllic rural setting, only 20 minutes from Gloucester. With locations across the country, we provide support to adults with learning difficulties and other mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to work, able to prioritise own workload and remain calm under pressure, whilst building relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders. Although you will be working as a team, you will not be collocated with your HR colleagues, who are based  at various locations across the charity. You will provide HR administrative support in particular recruitment, as well as day to day support in regards to monitoring sickness absence, attending formal meetings to take notes or give low-level HR advice. There will be an opportunity to develop in the role if you wish.

This role would suit someone who is confident and is not looking for a particularly structured approach to work processes. We currently do not have an HR Database but are in the process of introducing one, so the experience of an HR system or of introducing one may be an advantage.

The successful post holder will have at least 2 years HR experience and be a driver with a current valid license as they may have to travel on occasion between sites (3 of which are close together in the Forest of Dean). Please see the JD for further details of the requirements for this role.

This role is based on a 37.5 hour week, although part-time working 5 days a week will be considered.
