Camphill Village Trust are recruiting an Office Assistant working 25 hours per weeks with overtime available in busy periods, to meet their growing needs within the charity. Salary is £11,050 for the 25 hours.
Camphill Village Trust is a leading, long established and progressive UK charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, mental health problems and other complex support needs.
We encourage, enable and support over 500 people across a range of housing and support models and through our nine urban and rural communities, all of which are rated “good” with CQC.
The role will involve being a front-line point of contact for the charity and other department colleagues, including senior management, Trustees, Finance, Marketing, Fundraising, IT and HR.
The role will involve, liaising with colleagues, residents and families. Providing administrative support to the executive assistant, senior management team and Trustees within the charity. Including; making and receiving telephone calls, routine correspondence, distributing agendas and board papers.
The successful applicant will be self-directing, with the drive and enthusiasm to become involved within the charity and make their role key to the smooth running of the department. You will have a flair for working with people.
The ideal candidate will have some good knowledge and experience of working in an administrative role with good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge inn Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Office 365 is essential for this role, or a willingness to learn, as is a good reasonable standard of general education.
