Part-time ‘The Making Room’ Activities Co-ordinator

The Camphill Village Trust is a registered charity formed of nine communities in England offering opportunities for people with learning disabilities, mental health problems and other support needs to live, learn and work with others of all abilities in an atmosphere of mutual care and respect inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner (anthroposophy).  Our aim is to provide meaningful work in a setting where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, gain confidence and develop new skills.

Attending ‘The Making Room’ sessions will be an opportunity for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems to socialise with others as well as build skills and confidence. It will

• help people to develop positive friendships and networks
• give people the chance to engage with an adult education activity
• share learning developed with peers
• encourage people to develop an interest and skills in one or more art form

We are looking for experienced candidates who have the enthusiasm and experience of delivering arts and crafts activities.
