About the role
Seasonal Retail Assistant
To assist in the day to day running of the retail operation in accordance with and to the standards required by the Enterprise Manager and statutory regulations.
Main responsibilities:
· To be committed to customer service and the highest standards of service and presentation
· Adhering to policies and procedures for the running of a profitable retail department.
· To assist with the standard of presentation of the premises and equipment.
· To ensure correct procedures are followed in the handling of cash and electronic payment transactions.
· Maintain a fresh and attractive appearance of the retail area under the guidelines set by the Manager.
· To undertake any other duties that may be required for the effective operation of the retail department

What we provide

Our hourly rate of pay is £8.21. (if over 18).
What we need from you
Experience in a customer service environment is desirable. You may have previous experience in care, but it is not essential. What is important to us is that you share our values, have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will be good at both listening to and talking with people. You will have a positive and patient approach to supporting people with daily activities and enjoy helping people learn and explore new things. You have a flexible approach and like work both as part a team as well as on your own.
A good level of numeracy and literacy is essential.
