12 Week Short Courses

Severnside Skills short courses will introduce our full academic year vocational work experience courses. An opportunity to have a go at something different and see if it is the right course for you.

Sessions will be three hours long, and mainly practical giving an opportunity to gain work experience within the visitor centre and achieve a certificate to evidence achievement.

Course times will be morning 10 – 1pm or afternoon 1 – 4pm and all based at Taurus Crafts in Lydney.

Course Dates

First Intake

Starting w/c 19^th Feb for 6 weeks followed by 2-week Easter break.

Re-starting 15^th April – 24^th May

Second Intake

Mon 3^rd June – Fri 23^rd August

Full Courses starting September 2024 – 44 weeks.

• Customer Service (Retail & Hospitality)
• Barista Skills
• House Keeping
• Cleaning
• Upcycling
• Grounds Maintenance
• Office Administration Skills
• Events Steward

All courses will be certified by AQA.

Cost per person £550 (12 sessions)
